Trisha in Prakashraj film

Trisha had refused 'Vellithirai', produced by Prakashraj under Duet Films banner, as she couldn't accommodate dates. Now she has agreed to do another film of his to be directed by Radhamohan of 'Mozhi' fame. Like 'Mozhi,' this is a heroine-oriented subject and Trisha gave her call sheet right away because of the story and director. Prakashraj and Trisha are good friends too.

Meanwhile her 'Kireedom', starring Ajith and produced by Suresh Balaji, was slated to hit the screens this May. But it was delayed as 'Shivaji' was announced for release on 31 May. However, with 'Sivaji' release delayed to 15th June, there is a chance that 'Kireedom' will have an early release.

Rumour has it that Trisha will take up few more films. One is with Vijay under the direction of Dharani. She is also going to act in a new Telugu film to be produced and directed by V.V.Vinayak. There is also talk that she might be in Rajinikanth's next film!

There are talks that Priyadarshan has now offered her the lead role in his new Hindi film.
